Sworn Translation

A sworn translation is understood to be a translation that gives validity to documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates, criminal records, last wills and testaments, registry entries, etc.) before official bodies, both in Spain and abroad. This type of translation can only be carried out by sworn translators authorised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (MAUEC) under the stamp and signature of the translator-interpreter.
