About Irene Trabalón,
founder of TRAB
Each text is an inspiration and a source of new knowledge thanks to the exhaustive research exercise I apply to each subject. My motivation lies in the communication challenge.
Irene Trabalón holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada and is a sworn interpreter-translator of English appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. She worked in corporate banking for The Royal Bank of Scotland until she began her freelance career, a period in which she carried out translation projects for RBS, Meliá Hotels International, UniCredit, Joan Cerdà & Associats, Gleeds Ibérica, Ayuda en Acción, Greenpeace, Bureau Editors, Be Live Hotels and many other customers, which continue to trust in the translation services she offers.
Irene is also a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language, a professional proofreader, an expert in translation technologies by University College London, and holds a master’s degree in Translation and New technologies: Translation of Software and Multimedia Products from the Meléndez Pelayo International University.
After several years positioning herself in the translation sector and having a wide network of collaborators, translators of multiple languages and experts in different subjects, she unified and crystallised all the services she had been offering to her customers in a new project TRAB - Translations & more.
